GATORS YOU DID IT!!
The Read-A-Thon runs from April thru May. It all starts with the Kick-Off Assembly scheduled for Friday, April 8. Each class will have time to read at school April 19 thru April 25th with their teacher and students can continue reading on their own time afterwards. Each student will record the number of minutes read and submit their time to their teacher or onto a Google Form on April 25. Students can ask their family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor them with a donation.
Students who raise $125 or more in donations for the Read-A-Thon will be invited to participate in the Color Run Assembly. They will be able to choose whether to run with teachers or throw color at the runners.
A TRIP TO THE PRIZE ROOM for the TOP 20 EARNERS!. Our famous Prize Room is filled with many terrific prizes.
The proceeds from the Read-A-Thon benefits each and every student at San Gabriel Elementary School through field trips, assemblies, art programs, and a whole lot of other fun activities. We want to encourage every student to participate. Not only will the school benefit, but there are a lot of wonderful incentives and prizes available for the students. So let's all get out there and work together to support our school and education!
